Hungarian producer Khaaron returns to Haute Musique to mark the label’s milestone 70th release with ‘Fairytales EP’, a three-track journey through deep, dreamy and emotionally rich deep organic house music. As expected from the talented producers, the EP is wrapped in warmth, nostalgia and a sense of quiet reflection. The title track, ‘Fairytales,’ unfolds exactly as its name suggests. Crisp drum programming lay the foundation for a beautifully woven tapestry of heavenly vocals, delicate strings, heartfelt melodies and hypnotic pads. The result is a tender and uplifting composition that radiates feelings of comfort, love and security, effortlessly pulling the listener into Khaaron’s enchanting world. ‘Life After’ takes a more contemplative route, drifting deeper into the subconscious. Thought-provoking excerpts from philosopher Alan Watts weave gracefully through the arrangement, appearing and disappearing like the voice inside our own minds.
