Seasoned Swiss producer, KHAINZ, fresh back from rocking the Half Moon festival in Thailand and announcing his forthcoming Tomorrowland solstice, peaks again with a debut release for Joris Voorn’s Spectrum. A brilliant brace is fronted by the title track ‘The Drift’… ‘When I synthesized the bass of The Drift I knew it could be something great!’ The coarseness of the synth adds a layer of dirt and imposing power, which together with the contrasting pureness of its melody works to create a powerful dancefloor moment. The techno tandem is complete with ‘Elevation,’ a track that reaches new heights via its growling, all-conquering bassline. ‘The bass definitely makes Elevation unique and it works so well on the dancefloor. Both tracks are extremely punchy, whilst not being too hard.’ The Spectrum family continues to grow and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome Khainz aboard. You catch our drift?
