Behind the House : Release Notes
Heattraxx welcomes Australian producer and DJ CA LOU with Touch Me, a three-track release built squarely for the dancefloor. Born and raised on Australia’s east coast, CA LOU has become a rising name in the country’s electronic scene, with performances at events including Splendour in the Grass, Lost Sundays and Sydney Mardi Gras, while her groove-heavy, energetic sound has also led to a debut EP on Refuge Recordings. Across Touch Me, Give It and Feeling, she delivers a tight selection of house cuts driven by infectious grooves, attitude and a clear club focus. The final track, Feeling, features fellow Australian Joey Coco, the Melbourne-based house artist and DJ known for his soulful, deep and groove-led approach. With releases on labels including Refuge Recordings, Love Above and Music Is 4 Lovers, Coco brings his distinctive touch to the collaboration, adding another layer of character to an already focused three-track package. Touch Me marks CA LOU’s debut on Heattraxx and introduces a new voice to the label with a release made to move the floor.
