Behind the House : Release Notes

Hans Groover joins Machaca La Membrana with Lil’ Jazz, a release that combines classic musicianship with dance floor energy. The ensemble begins with a bold bassline, low-slung and funk-driven as warm chords dance over the rhythms of tech house. Horns bubble through crisp percussion as delicate finger work paints the melodies. Brass, keys and guitar in constant conversation. The music does the talking; organic, sophisticated and delightfully different.
