Daddy Squad joins forces with Brazilian producer Renato Cohen for “Pressuredrome,” a wired, high-energy collision of electro and disco. The original builds around a driving bassline, punchy drums, sharp synths, and an insistent vocal, creating a track that feels playful, strange, and made for the dance floor. The release also includes a shorter edit alongside the extended version. The Populists takes “Pressuredrome” somewhere heavier, reshaping it with a relentless groove, distorted textures, and steadily mounting pressure. Daddy Squad is the solo project of London-based producer Andrew Armstrong. His releases on Eskimo Recordings span indie dance, melodic house & techno, and afro house territories.
Brazilian producer Renato Carvalho Cohen operates from São Paulo, releasing music professionally since 1996 and gaining recognition for his track "Pontapé." His sound spans deep house to driving techno across labels including Pets Recordings, Suara, Sincopat, dftd, and Permanent Vacation.
