Behind the Indie Dance : Release Notes
Madd Rod brings Now I Got You In My Hand to Roam Recordings, accompanied by a remix from label head Jason Peters. Originally from Lisbon and now based in Berlin, the producer and DJ has built a catalogue that moves between retro electronic influences, experimentation and the dance floor. His releases on Discotexas, Get Physical and NEIN, alongside his own Inner Shah Recordings, reflect an approach that leaves room for different moods and directions.nnThe pairing brings Madd Rod into Roam’s corner of emotional, psychedelic dance music, with Peters offering his own interpretation of the original. Two versions of one track, connecting an artist with a distinctive electronic voice and a label built around music slightly outside the expected.nnArtwork: Javi Redondo
