Behind the Progressive House : Release Notes

Ruben Karapetyan returns to Univack with Monteverde, a track conceived from a club-focused Progressive House perspective and completed by a remix from veteran Maltese producer DJ Ruby. A release that explores two different perspectives on the same musical idea, combining depth, melodic tension, and a clear dancefloor-driven approach. In the original version, Karapetyan builds a soundscape rich in textures and melodic elements that intertwine to create a particularly immersive harmonic atmosphere. Its progressive evolution keeps the narrative in constant motion, while subtle acid nuances emerge during the tracks most energetic passages, adding contrast and a sharper edge without disrupting its overall hypnotic balance. DJ Ruby takes the most distinctive elements of the original and rearranges them from a more intimate perspective. His remix strengthens the groove, introduces new textures, and develops a patient, fluid progression, transforming Monteverde while preserving its essential identity.
