Behind the Progressive House : Release Notes

Serious Dancers returns to Univack with Evelen / Gloria (Remixes), a three-track EP of reinterpretations in which Nicolas Viana, Gai Barone and Kebin van Reeken take the original material into different territories of Organic and Progressive House, imprinting each version with their own language and sensitivity. Nicolas Viana transforms Evelen into a warm, energetic and organic piece, driven by a groove with a strong house flavor. Chords, stabs, textures and effects blend naturally to build a fluid and progressive interpretation, clearly recognizable within his sonic universe. Gai Barone approaches Gloria from a deeper, hypnotic and minimalist perspective. His remix works with space, repetition and tension with precision, creating a mental and introspective journey that connects with the more sophisticated side of Progressive House. Kebin van Reeken, meanwhile, rebuilds Evelen from a Deep Progressive House perspective, developing the energy with solidity, subtlety and particular attention to detail. The composition unfolds patiently until reaching its peak almost at the very end of the journey.
