Behind the House : Release Notes
ILINX returns with another remix from THE ILLUSTRATED MAN’s “The Skin of Time”, this time revisiting “The Ashes of King”, the collaboration with Sasha Carassi and the warm, hypnotic voice of Mønölitio. For this new interpretation, the explosive duo Moeaike deliver a version that is immersive and powerful at the same time, pulling you in from the very first listen. Built around their signature smooth and atmospheric sound, the remix unfolds with a deep sense of tension and anticipation. The breakdown opens into a moment of pure breath, stripping the arrangement back to Mønölitio’s voice before elements gradually return, building pressure step by step. Then everything gives way to an explosive drop: powerful, emotional and impossible to resist. Hypnotic, fluid and explosive in equal measure, Moeaike’s interpretation brings together all the ingredients of their distinctive sound, shaping “The Ashes of King” into a compelling club journey with the energy and impact to resonate far beyond the dancefloor.
