The Dancefloor: House Single
Behind the House : Release Notes
There Was Jack returns with another powerful release, this time from label boss Zsak and his brand-new single, “The Dancefloor.” The Hungarian DJ and producer has been an active part of the international electronic music scene for more than a decade. He launched his solo project in 2016, while also being a member and producer of the well-known house act Earth n Days. Over the years, Zsak has delivered a string of successful releases, with his tracks and remixes appearing on respected labels including Hed Kandi, Kontor, Armada and Toolroom. More recently, his productions have mainly found a home on his own labels, particularly There Was Jack. His collaboration with Milton Shadow, “House Music Baby,” and his single “I Like Deep” have received strong DJ support from the likes of Prunk, BLOND:ISH, TSHA, Illyus & Barrientos and Mark Knight, while also being played regularly at some of Ibiza’s leading clubs. Zsak now continues his run with a brand-new single, “The Dancefloor.” Driving house grooves, a dynamic bassline and crisp percussion meet classic house elements, while synths, FX and distinctive vocal cuts add extra character. Powerful build-ups keep the energy flowing throughout the arrangement. “The Dancefloor” combines the spirit of classic house with a fresh, modern sound – an energetic, club-focused record made for the dancefloor and highly recommended for DJs, curators and house music lovers.
