Behind the Tech House : Release Notes

There Was Jack continues its release schedule with another quality house cut, this time coming from Dutch DJ/producer duo Divine Kaos. Behind Divine Kaos are Divine and Kim Kaos, two artists who have already proven themselves individually on the house music scene through both their DJ sets and productions. After playing several shows together, the chemistry between them and the reaction from the crowd quickly made it clear that their collaboration could become something more. Joining forces as Divine Kaos, they are now combining their experience and energy to bring something fresh to the international house scene, both behind the decks and in the studio. The duo made their There Was Jack debut in September with “Gando Gando”, which quickly began climbing the house charts and received support from numerous respected DJs. Now they return with the follow-up, “Hands Up Your Head”. Their latest track is packed with energy. Driving house drums and percussion combine with a powerful, rolling bassline to create a strong groove, while punchy stabs, synths and FX add extra character throughout the arrangement. Extended, tension-building buildups are complemented by vocal elements before launching into energetic drops designed firmly for the dancefloor. “Hands Up Your Head” is another confident club weapon from Divine Kaos, a track made for DJs and anyone who likes their house music with a little extra punch, while also offering curators a potential secret weapon for their latest playlists. Don’t miss the latest release from There Was Jack!
