Agoria

Sébastien Devaud, known as Agoria, is a French electronic music producer and DJ from Valencin who began his career in the electronic scene during the late 1990s. In 2000, he became the first DJ signed by FAIR, a French support fund for new acts, and secured a publishing contract with Peer Music the same year. He left his A&R position in 2011 and founded his own imprint Sapiens Recordings in 2016. Devaud also records under the alias Hector and has maintained an active release schedule since 2010.

Agoria's sound spans melodic house and techno, deep house, and peak time driving techno, with releases appearing on his own Sapiens and Sapiens Recordings labels alongside major imprints like !K7 Records, Virgin, and Rebirth. His productions draw from jazz influences and Detroit techno, creating tracks that work across different energy levels from deeper, more introspective cuts to peak time dance floor material. With 57 releases cataloged since 2010 and continuing activity through 2025, his output demonstrates consistency in the melodic house and techno sphere while maintaining versatility across house music's broader spectrum.
