Aves Volare

Aves Volare is the project of UK-born DJ, producer and vocalist Paul Johnson, who operates from Melbourne, Australia. Johnson began releasing electronic music under the Aves Volare moniker in February 2018, accumulating 19 releases across a seven-year span that extends into 2025. He works as both a solo electronic producer and incorporates his own vocal performances into his productions.

Aves Volare's sound spans indie dance, melodic house and techno, progressive house, deep house, and tech house territories. Johnson releases music on established European labels including KATERMUKKE, Stil Vor Talent, Einmusika Recordings, Lost on You, and Frau Blau. His productions blend melodic sensibilities with dance floor functionality, operating within the 120-128 BPM range typical of progressive and melodic house while occasionally venturing into the deeper, more driving territories of tech house and melodic techno. The vocal elements he incorporates add an additional layer to tracks that otherwise follow contemporary melodic house production standards.
