Boddhi Satva

Boddhi Satva, real name Armani Kombot-Naguemon, was born in Bangui, Central African Republic in 1983 and has been based in Brussels since 2000. The Belgian producer and DJ started his electronic music career in hip-hop production before transitioning to house music, with his first electronic release appearing in July 2016. He also records under the alias Sage Monk and has accumulated 61 releases across various labels over his career.

Boddhi Satva produces what he terms "ancestral soul," blending Afro House with Deep House, House, and Melodic House & Techno elements that incorporate African musical traditions. His tracks appear on respected labels including Offering Recordings, Local Talk, Atjazz Record Company, Yellow Productions, and Vega Records. The music typically features spiritual themes woven through house frameworks, with his Afro House productions offering warm, percussion-heavy grooves suitable for both peak-time and deeper sets. His sound has evolved from straight house toward more complex Melodic House & Techno arrangements while maintaining the African musical influences that define his aesthetic.
