Johnwaynes

Johnwaynes is a Portuguese duo consisting of João Pedro Vieira Da Silva (Jepe) and António Jorge Rodrigues Bastos from northern Portugal. The group formed in 2007 and began releasing music in 2010, with Jepe also performing under the alias Just John. António Jorge Rodrigues Bastos brings extensive jazz training and percussion experience to the project, operating his own studio where he produces rock bands and Portuguese traditional music alongside electronic work.

The duo produces deep house, tech house, house, and minimal/deep tech across 10 releases spanning from 2010 to 2013. Their sound draws from António's jazz background and percussion expertise, while João's electronic production creates the foundation for their house-oriented material. Johnwaynes released consistently during their active period from 2010 to 2013, building a catalog that spans the deeper spectrum of house music with minimal techno influences.
