Louie Austen

Louie Austen is Alois Luef, an Austrian vocalist born September 19, 1946 in Vienna. He spent years performing in Las Vegas, following in the tradition of the Rat Pack including Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. In 1999, he returned to Vienna and collaborated with producers Mario Neugebauer and Patrick Pulsinger from Cheap Records, transforming from jazz crooner to electronic performer. His first release on Electrobuzz appeared in September 2012, marking over a decade of electronic music production.

Austen produces deep house and jackin house tracks that blend his jazz vocal background with electronic production. He releases music on Accidental Jnr, Toy Tonics, and Mood Funk Records, with his catalog spanning from 2012 through scheduled releases into 2025. His sound combines traditional crooner vocals with house rhythms, creating tracks that work equally in lounge settings and on dancefloors. The Austrian artist has maintained consistent output across these labels, establishing himself as a distinctive voice in the house music scene.
