Om Unit

Om Unit is the project of British producer Jim Coles, who operates from Bristol and founded the Cosmic Bridge label. Coles has released music under multiple aliases including 2Tall and Philip D Kick, with his Om Unit moniker launching its first documented release in July 2016. He runs his own imprint Om Unit Self Released alongside his Cosmic Bridge operation, establishing himself as both artist and label curator within the UK electronic music scene.

His sound spans from downtempo and organic house through to peak-time techno and bass-heavy club tracks, with releases appearing on respected labels including Idle Hands, Apollo Belgium, Midnight Shift, and GD4YA. Om Unit's productions range from atmospheric drum and bass influenced by dub traditions to harder-edged techno and electro, often incorporating elements of jungle and footwork rhythms. His catalog demonstrates versatility across tempo ranges, from beatless ambient pieces to driving peak-time tracks, making his releases suitable for both home listening and dancefloor deployment across multiple electronic music contexts.
