Pyramidal Decode

Francesco De Marzo operates under the alias Pyramidal Decode, producing techno from Italy since 2017. Born in 1998, he initially formed the duo Ort3d in 2015, focusing on dub techno before launching his solo project. De Marzo has released 32 tracks across multiple formats, with his first release appearing in January 2022 and continuing through March 2026.

Pyramidal Decode's sound spans from ambient techno to hard industrial, covering raw, deep, and hypnotic techno alongside peak time driving tracks. He releases on respected labels including MORD, Semantica Records, Edit Select, Warm Up Recordings, and Phyr Records. His productions range from mind-bending ambient textures to anxious industrial constructions, creating what he describes as both calming and unsettling experiences. The project encompasses electronica and hard techno territories, with releases spanning full albums and individual tracks that resist easy categorization within traditional techno subgenres.
