Simon Berry

Simon Paul Berry is an English trance DJ and producer who has been active since 1993. He operates under multiple aliases including Art Of Trance, Poltergeist, and Vicious Circles, and founded the Platipus label, which he continues to manage. Berry began releasing on Electrobuzz in 2017, contributing five releases to the platform between October 2017 and March 2019.

Berry's recent output spans progressive house and peak time driving techno, with releases appearing on established labels including Bedrock Records, Circus Recordings, and his own Platipus imprint. His Electrobuzz catalog demonstrates a shift toward harder, more driving sounds compared to his earlier trance work, incorporating the high-energy characteristics typical of peak time techno while maintaining progressive house elements. The releases showcase Berry's adaptation to contemporary dancefloor demands while drawing on his decades of production experience.
