Skatman

Skatman is the alias of Aziz Haddad, a DJ and producer from Tunisia who currently operates from Germany. He founded and ran SCATCITY Records from 2017 to 2022 before launching his newer imprint Cognitive Prophecy in 2022. His recording career began in November 2019, and he has released 24 tracks across various labels in the electronic music scene.

Skatman operates across melodic house and techno, indie dance, house, Afro house, and dance/electro pop territories. His releases have appeared on respected labels including Innervisions, Systematic Recordings, Running Back, Correspondant, and TAU. His sound bridges the gap between melodic underground house and more accessible indie dance, incorporating African influences that reflect his Tunisian heritage. The combination of melodic techno elements with Afro house textures creates music suitable for both peak-time club moments and more intimate dancefloor experiences.
