About

Smalltown Collective is a Swiss electronic music group from Wil, a town near Lake Constance in eastern Switzerland. The project began in 2008 and consists of members Remo Müller, Alan Brljafa, and Michel Staubli. Remo Müller started producing electronic music influenced by M/A/R/R/S, Bomb the Bass, and S'Express, performing his first live acts in clubs during his apprenticeship. The collective released their first track in May 2010 and has maintained consistent output through 2025 with 16 releases.

The group produces deep house and tech house tracks, with occasional ventures into melodic house and techno. Their releases appear on established labels including Plastic City, Hive Audio, Re:Fresh Your Mind, Keno Records, and MUKKE. Smalltown Collective's sound centers on deep house fundamentals with tech house elements, delivering tracks suitable for both intimate club settings and larger dancefloors. Their 15-year production span demonstrates a commitment to house music's core rhythmic structures while adapting to contemporary production techniques across multiple respected electronic music imprints.
