Something Else is a duo consisting of Japanese artists Chihiro Imai and Daisuke Itou. The pair began releasing music in October 2022 and has since produced 10 releases across the electronic music landscape.
Their sound spans melodic house & techno, indie dance, house, progressive house, and tech house. Something Else releases on labels including Sincopat, Steyoyoke Black, Kittball, Manitox, and Kinetika Music. Their productions blend melodic sensibilities with dance floor functionality, operating within the mid-tempo range characteristic of melodic house and progressive genres while incorporating the rhythmic elements of indie dance and tech house.
