Anders Trentemøller, born October 16, 1972 in Vordingborg, Denmark, operates as a solo electronic producer currently based in Copenhagen. The Danish artist has released music under multiple aliases including Andy Trent and Businessman, with his debut album "The Last Resort" earning Album of the Year recognition from German magazine Groove Mag and French magazine Trax in 2006. Trentemøller runs his own imprint In My Room Records, which serves as the primary outlet for his releases.

Trentemøller's sound spans house, electronica, and downtempo territories, with releases appearing on In My Room Records and HFN Music since his first Electrobuzz-tracked release in November 2011. His productions incorporate ambient textures with driving techno elements, creating music that functions both as peak-time club material and introspective listening experiences. The artist's catalog includes shoegaze and alternative rock influences alongside his electronic work, with his sound evolving from downtempo beginnings toward more driving, peak-time techno arrangements in recent releases through 2024.
