Various Artist, the alias of Torsten Pröfrock, began releasing electronic music in November 2011. Operating under multiple aliases including Dynamo, Erosion, and Traktor, he has maintained a prolific output with 42 releases spanning over a decade of production. The artist works across multiple imprints in the electronic music scene, establishing a presence on labels such as RAAR, No.19 Music, and Muna Musik.

Various Artist produces across deep house, tech house, and techno territories, with his sound encompassing both driving peak-time techno and more subdued deep house textures. His releases appear on labels including Illegal Alien Records and Oh! Records Stockholm, indicating a preference for underground-focused imprints. The project spans house music's tempo spectrum, from deeper groove-oriented tracks to peak-time driving techno, with his most recent release appearing in August 2023. His production approach covers both the melodic side of house music and the harder-edged driving techno sound.
