Voices from The Lake

Voices from the Lake is an Italian duo comprising Donato Scaramuzzi and Giuseppe Tillieci. The group began releasing music in 2014, with their first release appearing on June 8th of that year. They operate primarily through their own label Spazio Disponibile, maintaining creative control over their output across eight releases spanning over a decade.

Their sound traverses ambient techno, dub techno, and experimental electronica territories, ranging from raw deep hypnotic grooves to peak time driving techno. The duo's releases on Spazio Disponibile demonstrate their evolution from ambient-leaning experimental works to more club-focused material, incorporating elements of electronica alongside their core techno foundation. Their approach blends the meditative qualities of dub techno with the intensity of driving peak-time cuts, creating compositions that function both as listening experiences and dancefloor tools.
