Adriatique – Lophobia EP – Almost one year ago Adriatique released their last EP on Culprit LA after their debut solo record on the Diynamic imprint last summer. Many highlights appeared since then. A lot of successful remixes, a heavy touring schedule, a weekly Ibiza residency and great recognition within the Diynamic family. After quite some time being in search for new inspiration the two guys from Zurich, Switzerland come up with Lophobia, a record which is full of deepness, melancholy, light and darkness. After some moments with lack of ideas and creativity several feelings about music in general came together: phobia or fear mixed with the love for music and daily business. This could totally be a sneak preview to a series full of emotional, deep driven techno and house music from Adriatique on Diynamic. With absolutely no vocals on the record, all tracks are mostly carried by several instruments and melodies which are not only told by a big hook line. It is Hot in Berlin and we are ready to release our annual Summer compilation “Deep Love 3”. As with the previous editions this label Compilation features exclusive tracks Only! One exception is the great Alfa Romero track that was released earlier this year on their new imprint “Alfa Romero Recordings” we thought this masterpiece deserved a proper vinyl release so decided to take it on here as well. Samuel Dan – Slow Motion – was always likely to end up making and playing music around the world: his father was a DJ and programmer, and so Samuels respect for, and admiration of, the music world has been fomented over many years. Now, having experimented in a rock band with friends, he has come full circle and is back twiddling knobs and faders across Europe. 2005 saw the young Spaniard get his first gigs, with plenty more coming flooding in during a year spent in Germany as a student. In Germany, Samuel cut his teeth, learning and improving his trade in and around some key clubs. Couple this with his studies in computer science at the Universidad Politécnica of Valencia and the mans production skills have now got him some serious recognition. Petrichor – Some Bara – Glasgow based producer Petrichor (aka Simon Stokes) returns to Soma with the follow up to his excellent debut On Tides with the deep and thoughtful Some Bara EP. Continuing in the shape of the previous release, Petrichor has crafted 3 very unique tracks that are saturated in emotion. Soma Bara opens with a perfect melody of plucked synths working their way in over shuffling drum patterns, all taken deeper with perfect low end and sequenced with a very live feel to it. This is definitely a journey with Petrichor at the helm. Jump Spot is the perfect follow on and bounces straight into action as a punchy kick drum rides out punctuated by light synth pulses.
