  A resident artist on Manual Music is making his debut now on our label. Please welcome Noraj Cue to Cinematique. Noraj Cue is a guy who lives in the north of the Netherlands. He grew up in a partly Dutch / Indonesian family where music always was around either played by records or by family members on the piano or the guitar.   Hes been in the game for 15 years now, and throughout Ark has proven hes not one to spread himself thinly. Leading up to 2010s Arkuarium on THEMA, he had released a string of collaborations that wandered enthusiastically and whose experimentalism culminated on that record.   For our 48th vinyl release on Intacto Records, we welcome RAY KAJIOKA. Born to a German mother and a Japanese craftsman, Ray Kajioka was named after the Soul and Jazz legend Ray Charles, as if his parents predicted his musical future. As a kid, Ray like to jingle on any object around him, whether itd be his moms cooking pots or plastic bowls. I felt the music in me always, Ray says. At 14, his parents gave him piano lessons, but he soon found out hes much rather pay popular music by ear. Hardly a day went by that Ray wasn’t sitting in front of his Yamaha keyboard. By playing different variations of a song-theme Ray realized that he could actually create his own music. Thats when he got serious with music. So he took to DJ-ing in 1995.
