There’s more no-nonsense, well-produced fare on this four-tracker from London-based producer Kaveesh Mangtani, AKA Mr Kavalicious. There’s a smooth-but-bumpy feel to the heavy analogue bass, cymbal-rich groove and toasty keys on “Dragon”, while “Make Me” ups the tempo and injects a little hustling energy into the mix for increased dancefloor pleasure. The latter track is expertly reworked by Nick Morris & Dave Scott (think rubbery synth bass, off-kilter percussion and woozy chords), while Munich’s Coeo adds some analogue hiss and late night fuzziness to “Dragon”.
