The Martinez Brothers and Joseph Capriati will tell you the same, so there’s no better time for Garcia to make his Clarisse debut and get vibrant summer playlists sorted with a very personalised brand of uptempo samba sauce. Treating flamenco as high stakes sport with its sunglasses wearing, fedora tipping, toothpick chewing lyrics, ‘Me Encanta’ is hot from the centre of the town square with Garcia as funky house matador. Glam and gladiatorial, Garcia’s hypnotic bassline groove played with a game face but landing like a cannonball off the top board, is iced by horn stabs tiptoeing around the boundary.
