The latest release on Madloch’s Crossfade Sounds welcomes back Rheinkalk, following his Inner Noises EP in December 2025, continuing his steady evolution as a core artist within the label. Based in Germany, Rheinkalk has become closely associated with Crossfade Sounds since his 2024 debut, shaping a sound that bridges dub techno, ambient and experimental electronica, while also appearing on related projects within the wider scene. Placeholder EP presents four originals, Pulsing Through, Frequent (Original Mix), Elf Schritte (Original Mix) and Deceiver, unfolding with a restrained, textural depth and subtle rhythmic undercurrent.
