Behind the House : Release Notes

Berlin-based DJ and producer Schiela makes his debut on PETS Recordings with his latest EP ‘Orgon Voices’, releasing October 9th. Known for his high-energy, club-ready releases and working across a wide range of genres, Schiela draws influence from house, dub techno, UK garage and more, with releases on high-profile labels such as Gudu Records and Correspondant. The ‘Orgon Voices’ opens with the title track, fast flowing rhythmic percussion and cyber textures combining before ‘Concentrate’, a dense, powerful cut formed by hard-hitting percussion and commanding synths continues. Closing track ‘The Wobbler’ then reflects Schiela’s distinctive high-energy sounds rooted in UK garage and bassline with sonic pads and swirling textures.
