Behind the Melodic House & Techno : Release Notes

Mario Eighta delivers a three-track EP that moves from peak-time intensity to groove-driven club territory, drawing on UK vocal styles and breaks influences. The opening track, “Mekka”, sets the pace with high energy and relentless momentum, built for the most intense moments of the night. On “Runndah”, Eighta teams up with Audictive for a rolling, groove-led cut that keeps the dancefloor moving. Closing the EP, “Soundboy” introduces another collaboration, pairing an infectious groove with UK-style vocals and drum & bass influences. Together, the three tracks deliver a focused club release with plenty of power, movement and attitude. The artwork for Mario Eighta’s “Mekka” EP presents a surreal labyrinth of mirrors within a monumental, shadow-filled space. Curved reflective surfaces fragment the architecture, while a luminous moon repeats into the distance, creating an illusion of infinite depth. Rendered in silver and charcoal tones, the image explores repetition, perception and the elusive boundary between reality and reflection—an invitation to lose oneself in a space where every angle reveals another world.
