Blackploid is the project of German producer Martin Matiske, who began releasing music in 2021. Based in Germany, he operates under his real name as an alias and has built a focused catalog of five releases exclusively on the Central Processing Unit label since March 2021.

Blackploid produces electro and techno that spans classic Detroit electro, modern electro variations, and raw, deep, hypnotic techno styles. His releases on Central Processing Unit demonstrate a commitment to the label's aesthetic of precise, driving electronic music that bridges vintage electro sensibilities with contemporary techno production.
