Cumsecade has a dense sound that pivots around awkward percussion and found sound sampling, coming from the Villalobos school of hard knocks but rubbing some extra spice into the sounds used. Anestie Gomez meanwhile has a delicate approach that lets melody lead the way with some wobbly keys and a simple slender drum beat. Man Spider finishes the EP off with the wondorously lop-sided groove of “Neozoen”, which piles the funk on heavy while keeping things filtered and surreal at all times.
