Now – the label owner herself steps back in, confidently defining this statement with ‘Safe’ – a 2-tracker that delivers on both counts being equal parts tough and tender. The title track is a clinic in heady, hook-driven Techno. Plumes of catchy but delicate vocals gently push through airy synths as an elegant tapestry of sound forms behind bold, kinetic percussion. The pressure stays up throughout while the tone remains deep and classy. ‘Micro Lies’ follows up with a beautifully vibrant groove that sets citric hats over a buoyant kick and sub combo that pair up to form a stout, driving foundation for the track.
