Pluto [ICONYC]

Behind the Melodic House & Techno : Release Notes

As gray tones settle into the frame, ICONYC welcomes Amsterdam-born DJ and producer Cees for an unforgettable debut with “Pluto”. A singular transmission that seduces as much as it disorients, moving through the senses with the kind of unhurried, intoxicating ease that makes us want to surrender completelynnMesmerizing from the onset, Cees’ sultry “Pluto” moves in strange ways, treading over an irresistible percussive tapestry powered by a propulsive low-end pulse as iridescent overtones seep into the mix. Slowly, a rave-laced piano surges through the aqueous haze, strutting with consummate swagger alongside lush vocal bursts that exude pleasure into the air. With a perfect blend, “Pluto” ventures further into the dancefloor, deploying a minimalistic breakdown, stripping itself down to its bare essentials, reveling in its own unadulterated alchemy, providing the perfect distillation of emotions before teasing us with one last shot of flavor for a most sensual and hypnotic introduction to an artist whose orbit you’ll want to stay in.n
